Started on this build of Velma a couple weeks ago, usually I don’t sketch a piece before I work on it especially if it’s based on a pre existing character. The underlying armature allows for a multitude of poses, so I do I find myself deviating from the main pose even if I sketch it out. arms have been fleshed out (as seen in the pictures) though I can’t decide on whether there should be a flashlight in her right hand or adjusting her hipster glasses with it.
also alternatively a zombiefied hand will be coming out of the grave to complete the effect. This model contains about 13 pieces.
Generally I work on multiple pieces at a time, Bridget includes includes 14 parts which must fit together smoothly.
materials for this fig include: epoxy putty, polymer clay, Polyester putter, wood filler.
Just a scene from the “Water Witch” story I’m working on. still uncertain about tone of the short story since it’s in it’s early stages but generally illustrating a scene can solidify any ideas I have about it, so that’s why I posted this tidbit.
Listen to some “Boards of Canada” while you’re at it.
